2008 年有新意的建筑设计其实不少。CH 选取了如下五个：

1、纽约实验媒体及表演艺术中心
建筑功能包括剧院、音乐厅和音频视频制作室，其外观像一个眼球，由英国 Grimshaw 公司设计。

2、英国 Littlehampton 的东湾咖啡厅
Thomas Heatherwick 的这件雕塑化的作品甚至让 Littlehampton 这个英国小镇摆脱旅游危机。

3、荷兰 Kraanspoor 办公楼
建筑师 Trude Hooykaas 利用废弃码头建造了这个现代化的办公楼，悬挂式的玻璃表皮可以很好的调节内部温度降低空调成本。

4、波特兰 Clinton 公寓
亮点在于建筑的室内设计。

5、Abilmo 的移动酒店客房
虽然单间只有12平米，但这些小盒子包含有酒店住宿的所有必需品，床、浴室和客房设施，而且在隔热隔音上做的很好，能适应任何外部环境。
